Get to know me
—
It all started when I was 13 and I got my first point and shoot camera. I took photos of everything- my dog, my friends, and dare I say those early 2000 awkward selfies with a mouth full of braces. No shame but I didn’t care, it was something fun to me. Throughout my teenage years, my beloved camera went with me everywhere capturing just about everything.
I didn’t realize how meaningful photography truly was to me until I was an adult. People tell you time flies by but it was not until I had my daughter that I realized just how fast each moment really passes. As I look back on her photos, I can hardly believe that little sweet newborn baby is the vibrant, beautiful six year old that keeps me on my toes. I look back and thank God that I have those photos of who she used to be.
“If you don't think photos are important, wait until they're all you have left.”
Another life event that has turned my world upside down is the death of my father, one of my number one supporters. Death is hard no matter what but I find comfort in having photos of my dad and being able to see them anytime I’m missing him.
I’ve always said, each moment is so fleeting and all that remains is a memory. If you don’t capture it, it’s gone. I hope you consider me to capture those special moments in your life because I know how important they truly are.
When I’m not busy with photography or work, you can find me hanging out with my daughter, sleeping, or in the gym pretending I’m a powerlifter.
